Non-static method sets one of detection types: self::DETECTION_TYPE_MOBILE or self::DETECTION_TYPE_EXTENDED. Otherwise, does nothing.

Parameter	Description	Version
$type	Type. Must be the constant `self::DETECTION_TYPE`. Parameter is empty by default, corresponding to `self::DETECTION_TYPE_MOBILE`.
