bxmail(

 string subject,

 string additional_headers = "",
 string additional_parameters = ""
);

Check if the 'custom_mail' function is available. If it exists, bxmail calls it with all parameters and returns a result.

Otherwise, calls in-built php 'mail' function. 

This function is called from the main module when sending mail events as well as from the subscribe module.
