It's important to remember the following when working with workflows via API:

  • automation rules are always launched when stage is updated, or new item is added (at the first stage);
  • workflow element update (by action or automation rule) doesn't launch autorun workflow that implements an update;
  • creating entities via workflow action doesn't launch autorun workflow for creating;
  • workflow are launched from REST on commercial plans only, demo and NFR plans.
