Your website is always at a certain level of risk of hacker attacks. New methods are constantly devised by third parties to find legacy system vulnerabilities and penetrate installed security measures. Bitrix24 always ensures the stability of the customer site performance and remedies all observed exploits. Its important to note, that to maintain a full scale protection for your site, you must install all new product updates in a timely manner.

  Proactive protection monitor

Starting from Security 24.0.0 module release, Bitrix24 now offers a new tool — Proactive protection monitor.

This way a company protects sites and instances of its customers before installing full-fledged updates.

Please note, that proactive protection monitor does not guarantee full protection from hacks without installed most recent product updates. This tool blocks suspicious requests, informing you about the need to urgently update site, instance or an account. Without the new updates installed, there's always a risk for your site.

  How to work with the monitor

Administrator's area next to Control Panel now shows site security level. There are two statuses:

• Red with "Security threat" text
• Green with "Site protected" or "Bitrix24 protected"

This status allows you to swiftly assess current situation with site security and is always visible at any administrative Control Panel's page.

When security status changes from green to orange, you will see a popup window, containing information about suspicious queries. We strongly recommend updating the product by clicking "Update" button as soon as possible. This will ensure that your site is securely protected.

Clicking on the status switches you to the page at Settings > Proactive protection > Proactive protection monitor. This is an information page, showcasing various security details: status, protection history, hack attacks diagram, etc.

Monitor performance collects all kinds of data about all sustained hack attacks and displayed as history of "Attacks neutralized" diagram, and you will be able to trace details on all activities you may encounter:
