To delete a Sphinx server instance, proceed with the following:

• Select menu item 5. Configure Sphinx service for the pool > 3. Remove sphinx instance on the server.
  Note. Menu item will be become available only when at least a single instance will be created via the menu at 5. Configure Sphinx service for the pool > 1. Create sphinx instance on the server.

  

• Enter host name for deleted Sphinx instance (server1 in the example).

  

• Select listed kernel database for the site's system:

  

• Wait until the deletion is complete.

  

As the result, the Virtual Appliance will delete:

• sphinx service;
• all service files, for example, from log folder;
• bx-sphinx packet.
