1. Create sphinx instance on server

The following is required to install Sphinx on the server:

Install and update project to the latest version.
Select the Virtual Appliance item 5. Configure Sphinx service for the pool > 1. Create sphinx instance on the server.
Then enter host name for search server (server1 in the example).
Select listed kernel database for the site's system:
Agree to full re-indexing after server installation:
Wait until the installation and re-indexing are completed:

Attention! Task execution may take a rather long time (up to 2-3 hours and more) depending on the task complexity, data volume used in such tasks, capacity and server load.
You can check the currently executed tasks by using menu item 10. Background pool tasks > 1. View running tasks. Performance log files are stored in the directory /opt/webdir/temp.
