Access permission types

Bitrix24 system supports two mode: role-based and extended mode.

Role-based mode assigns access permissions by roles in the Sites24 public section.
Extended mode assigns access permissions inside settings for each site.

These models have fully shared logic on both access permission level and entity management level. It means that you can freely switch between models and go back and forth and previous settings will be saved.

Attention! The handler must independently define the current mode using corresponding methods when no mode is identified when querying methods for various modes.
