The toolbar is always on top on the screen and visible to only the authorized users having sufficient permissions. Depending on a current user’s permissions, the toolbar may show or hide the respective commands which are allowed or disallowed for the user.
The toolbar can be pinned on top so it don’t scroll with the page contents by clicking the button 
Among other commands, the toolbar has some special features:
- the update notifier which is shown when there are available system updates;
- the currently authorized user name which, when clicked, opens the user profile for editing.
The Menu Button
This button provides a shortcut to any desired Control Panel function.

The Site Tab
This tab renders the site content just as the visitors see it, plus providing the website content management functions.

New Page menu | Opens a menu showing the new page templates. Select a template and follow the wizard instructions. |

 | Edit Page button | Edits a currently open page in the visual editor dialog. |
Edit Page menu | Opens a menu containing commands to edit a page in simple or workflow mode; view the page edit log; edit the page properties and access permissions. |
 | Edit Section button | Opens a form to change the section properties. |
Edit Section menu | Opens a menu containing the section management commands. |
 | Menu button | Brings up the menu editor dialog box. The drop-down button allows to select a menu for editing, or create a new menu. |
 | Structure button | Opens the Structure dialog box in which you can add, edit, move or delete pages and section as well as their properties. |
 | SEO button | Brings up a selection of the search engine optimization tools. |
 | Refresh Cache button | Refreshes the cached data for a current page. |
Refresh Cache menu | Shows commands to refresh the cache of a current page or components in it; or disable caching for this page completely. |
 | Components button | Shows a menu in which you can select a component to edit its properties. This button is available when in edit mode only. |
 | Site Template button | Opens a form to edit the site styles or the site template styles. |
 | Debug button | Enables the display of the site engine statistics. Using the drop-down menu, you can select to show the database query statistics, the include area statistics or the compression statistics. |
 | Statistics button | Opens a menu to select the website statistics: the page views or the page clicks. |
 | Translation button | Shows the localization files used by a current page. This button is visible if the corresponding option is checked in the Localization module settings. |
 | Reindex button | This button is shows for pages containing one or more of any of the social networking components. When clicked, re-indexes the components’ data. |
 | Site Wizard button | Runs a wizard to configure the solution currently in use. |
Site Wizard menu | Shows a menu containing the wizards available for the current solution. Each solution is in possession of the own set of wizards. |
 | Test a New Solution button | Selects a new solution for installation. |
Test a New Solution menu | Shows a menu containing commands to install a solution; open another site or remove this button from the toolbar. |
 | Edit Mode toggle | Enables or disables the website context edit mode. When enabled, you can highlight any text block by hovering the mouse pointer over it and edit it by using the popup toolbars. |

, when clicked, switches the website to the system administration area.
The Update Notifier
The update notifier (the link:
)shows up automatically as soon as the system detects that there are new updates available which are checked for periodically as specified in the kernel module settings. Clicking this link will open the SiteUpdate form.
The Authorized User Name Indicator

The authorized user name is a link which, when clicked, opens the user profile for editing. The Logout link ends the authorized session.
The Toolbar In Minimized State
The toolbar, when collapsed, saves more visible screen space. The collapsed mode, however, retains some management functions. The Menu button can be used to access the Control Panel pages; the update notifier is operational; the Edit Mode toggle is available.
