The page title helps to attract site visitors’ attention to the necessary document and to give the general idea of information placed on the page.

Beside that it is recommended to use additional web-browser titles to let users easily navigate thought the web-browser windows.

Page titles are used by search engines for displaying links on the documents in search result lists.

The Bitrix Site Manager allows to implement the following operation with the document titles:

• Set the same title for page and web-browser window;

  

• Set different titles for page and web-browser window;
  
  

  

• Set page and web-browser window titles dynamically using, for example, the following parameters:

  • the current catalog section title;

    

  • the current catalog article name or the current news title;
    
    

    

  • etc.
