This form is used to create and edit newsletter issues (in fact, e-mail messages) to be sent to subscribers. Depending on whether you create a new message or edit an existing one, some fields can be visible or not.
With this form, you can do the following:

Message status information | |
Modified | The date an issue was last modified. This field is displayed only in the message editing mode. |
Sent | The date the issue was sent. This field is displayed only in the message editing mode, if an issue was sent once. |
Delivery report | Link to the list of addresses to which the
message was sent. This field is displayed if the delivery report can be
built (i.e. for the Sent, Partially sent,
Error statuses). This field is displayed only in the message editing mode, if an issue was sent once. |
Current status | Status of an issue. The status
can be one of the following:

Move to status | This field allows to change the message status.
For example, to re-send a message, you can
change its status from Sent
to Draft
and, then send it again. This field is displayed only in the message editing mode, if an issue was sent once. |
Message fields | |
From | This field contains the message sender address. By default, the sender address specified in the Newsletter module settings is used. This field is mandatory |
To | This field is used to specify the message recipient address. By default, the recipient address specified in the Newsletter module settings is used. This field must contain at least one address |
Subject | The message subject. This field is mandatory |
Message body | The text of the message. |
Text / HTML | The format of a message. In the text format, you cannot format text and insert images. The HTML mode allows to use any formatting of a message. At the same time some users might want to receive messages in the text format. In any case, it's up to you to choose the format type. |
Use visual editor |
This option can be used only with the HTML format messages. If this option is selected, the message can be edited very easily, like in Microsoft Word. If this options is disabled, and the message was originally created in the HTML format, the HTML code of the message will be displayed. |

Addresses of recipients | |
Topics | A list of existing newsletter topics. You can select the required topics and send the message only to the subscribers of the selected topics. |
Format | This field allows to restrict the issue sending only to those
subscribers who have chosen their desired format of issues.
You can choose from the following:

User groups | In addition to recipients of the selected newsletters, you can send an issue to the site users. Choose the required site user groups from the list by checking the corresponding boxes. |
E-mail filter | This field is used to specify a condition that will be applied to e-mail addresses. The issue will be actually sent to matching addresses only. For example, if you want to restrict the issue sending to e-mail addresses registered on the bitrixsoft.com server only, set the following filter: %@bitrixsoft.com |
Additional e-mails | |
Additional e-mail addresses to which the message will be sent. In this field, multiple e-mail addresses must be separated with comma or a carriage return. |

File name... | These fields can be used to add files you want to be sent with the message. Click Browse to select and add files. |

Encoding | The encoding in which the message will be sent. |
Send directly to each recipient | If this option is enabled, each message will be created and delivered
individually to each recipient. If this option is disabled, the same message will be sent to all recipients at once, with their addresses in the Blind copy field (BCC). It is recommended to send messages personally to guarantee the reliable delivery to all subscribers. |
Send the issue automatically at the scheduled time | Check this box if you want the issue to be sent on the scheduled date and time automatically |
Scheduled time of the issue | If you have checked the Send the issue automatically at the scheduled time option, specify here the date and time of the issue sending. By default, this field initially contains the date and time of the issue creation |

Add | Saves the message and switches to the list of messages. |
Apply | Saves the message, but does not close the issue editor. |
Cancel | Closes the issue editor without save, and switches to the list of messages. |
Send | Click this button to send the message. |
Editing an existing message | |
Add | Saves the message and goes to displaying the list of messages. |
Apply | Saves the message. Editing of the message is continued. |
Cancel | Closes the issue editor without save, and switches to the list of messages. |
