How to check a mail box for new messages

The Mail messages form displays messages coming from the existing (created by you) mail boxes. Using this form you can:
The Mail messages form contains two main areas: filter and mail messages list, and also additional areas such as Receive mail and Process mail.
The filter is used to define the selection parameters of the messages to be displayed in the list. To do so, the filter supports the following message search parameters:
The table below describe the filter fields.
Field | Description |
---|---|
Everywhere | Words or phrases that the sought messages may contain in any field. |
ID | The ID of the sought message. |
Mail box | The name of a mail box from which the sought messages have been received. |
Marked as SPAM | Selects all messages, those marked as SPAM or not marked as SPAM. |
Read messages | Selects all messages, read messages or non-read messages. |
From | Sender of the sought messages. |
To | Recipient of the sought messages. |
Subject | Subject of the sought messages. |
Text | Words or phrases that the sought messages may contain in their body. |
Click Set filter to activate the filter. To display all information, click Cancel.
Button | Description |

Receive mail | Allows to check all or selected mailboxes for new messages. |
Excel | Exports data from the table to the MS Excel format. |
Field | Description |

Checkbox column | Used to select messages to which the desired rules or actions are to be applied. Available rules and actions can be found in the action bar below the table. |
Subject | Subject of the message. |
From | Sender of the message. This field displays the sender name as defined by the message author. |
Date | Date when the message has been received. |
Mail box | The name of the mail box from which the message was received. |
Size | Size of the message in bytes. |
SPAM coeff. | Ratio indicating the probability of the message being spam. |
Attach. | Number of attachments in this message.

Selected | Number of messages selected from the database. |
Checked | Number of messages marked. |

The table can be sorted by any field
by clicking on a header of the desired column.
To check whether there are new mail messages in the existing mail boxes, select the required mail box (or all mail boxes) in the context bar, and click OK.
Processing status and the number of messages received will be displayed for each mail box in the Check for new mail form.
In case any errors occurred during processing, the mailbox context toolbar will show the Mailbox settings button. Click it to edit the mail box properties (e.g. correct the user password).
To apply any action or rule to a message or a group of messages, do the following.
