---|---|
*Currency | Contains the 3-symbol currency abbreviation (for example: RUR, EUR, USD). |
Face-value | Face-value, or quantity of currency units, for which the exchange rate is set. Usually it equals the face-value set by the Central Bank. For most currencies the face-value is 1 (for instance, 26.9 RUR for 1 USD). Some currencies, however, will have a different value (for instance, 23.20 RUR for 100 JPY). |
*Default rate | A currency rate which will be used for
conversion of the currency in case no other rate is specified in the Currency rates form for this currency. The rate of the base currency
equals 1. For other currencies, the rate is specified relative to that of the base currency. That is, the Default rate field of a newly added
currency must contain the amount which is fixed for it in the base currency. For example, if you set the rate of RUR to 1, then the USD rate can be set to 27.6, and the EUR rate to 34.2. See also: Currency rates. |
