The Price types form is used to manage types of prices which you can use to set different prices to different
customer groups.
Price types were introduced to facilitate assigning different prices to a product. For example, you can enter and show different prices for retail and wholesale customers, and dealers.

Action menu

Clicking the action button of any price type opens a menu allowing to:
- Edit - switches to a price type editing form;
- Delete - deletes the price type.

The price type identifier. |
Code |
The symbolic code of the price type used in the administrative section to identify the type. |
Name
|
The price type name as it is displayed on different sites. |
Sort
|
The sort order of the price type in lists. |
Base
|
If Yes, this price type is the base price. Other price types are calculated from this price type. |
