List of markups and discount
The Markups and discounts form (e-Store -> Commercial catalog -> Markups and discounts) is used to manage markups and discounts in the system.
For short, markups and discounts are both hereinafter referred to as "discount" .
A discount is the percentage reduction from the product price. Each customer or a user group can be assigned individual discounts.
A discount type is the named discount value (e.g. Quantity discount). Named discounts are introduced for easier discount handling.
If you regularly offer the same discounts for your products, you may want to create a discount type based on the discount amount. In this case, the system will automatically calculate selling prices by adding the discount amount to the base product price. When the discount changes, the system automatically recalculates selling prices.
